Subang Jaya, 27 April 2017 – Servicing the country since 1995, USG Boral Malaysia formerly known as Boral Plasterboard hosted members of the media to a briefing session earlier today. Being the key market leader in the plasterboard segment, the company shared with the members of the media the benefits of plasterboard and drywall solutions.

Daron Cheah, Managing Director of USG Boral Malaysia & Singapore provided insights into the technology, innovation and processes of creating plasterboards and drywall ; its customizability of the company’s solutions, and even its cost effectiveness.

“USG Boral’s drywall solutions range from the standard drywall to solutions that include fire resistance, moisture resistance and even acoustic performance solutions. These solutions are made possible by the constant research and development that’s ongoing in our plants around the world. The same effort has earned us up to 500 patents for our products and solutions” he said.

USG Boral is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur and currently has close to 3,500 employees, 24 manufacturing plants and 3 gypsum mines across 13 countries. USG Boral has a local business office and warehouse in Subang Jaya, with plants in Parit Buntar, Perak and Port Klang.
